Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,
It is a privilege and an honour to welcome you to Ysgol Gymraeg Pwll Coch’s new website.
Our aim is to maintain a caring and inclusive school community that offers rich educational experiences, celebrating our Welshness and the diversity of our cultures.
As a school we will ensure that all pupils have access to the experiences, knowledge and skills to succeed in the next stages of their lives.
We expect the best possible standards from our pupils and we will do our best to give them every opportunity and guidance. The richness and breadth of the extracurricular activities on offer is an important feature of the life and culture of this school. We aim to ensure academic, cultural, musical and sporting success by celebrating the success of every pupil, whatever their talent and interest.
One of the strengths of our school is its Welsh and fair ethos, its caring, open and happy community where the pupils feel at home and enjoy their education.
We aim to make learning an exciting and enjoyable experience by using interesting and authentic contexts for learning in our lessons.
Every pupil is important as an individual, and every individual is important as a member of the Ysgol Gymraeg Pwll Coch community. This principle of respecting the individual is at the heart of our school's ethos, values and success.
Our pupils are proud of their school, proud of their Welshness and bilingualism and are able to contribute positively to the multilingual and multicultural society of Cardiff, Wales and the World.
